Airlie Beach6 nights3.0 star property9.2/10 - Wonderful (627 reviews)"This property has an amazing view overlooking the ocean. We loved sitting on the patio eating our meals and watching the boats come and go. The property itself is well kept and the pool is pristine! The view from the infinity pool is so amazing. The only negative was that our unit itself is a bit worn. Needs some freshening up esp with the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. These were old and worn and some dishes had permanent stains on them. The washer and dryer were very handy after a..."Reviewed November 2, 2026Roundtrip • Sydney (SYD) - Proserpine (PPP)SYD - HTI • Nonstop HTI - SYD • 1 stop$1,172$877found 1 day agoper traveler - Airlie Beach Hotel

Flametree6 nights4.5 star property9.0/10 - Wonderful (4 reviews)"Our stay was just ok. The trash was still full and in the kitchen from the previous guest, there were dead roaches, there were dirty popsicle sticks by the pool. The coffee machine didn’t work either. A staff member did drop a different one by after I let them know. We also had the doorbell ring at 2am and wake everyone in the house… apparently this is common when the batteries run low? Seems like they should be routinely changed to prevent that from occurring. None of these issues are big, but..."Reviewed November 30, 2025Roundtrip • Sydney (SYD) - Hamilton Island (HTI)SYD - HTI • Nonstop HTI - SYD • 1 stop - Elysian Luxury Eco Island Retreat

Whitsundays6 nights4.5 star property9.8/10 - Exceptional (54 reviews)"This is the perfect place to stay if you want the things it offers. The list includes being a small resort, limited to 20 people in 10 villas, brilliant staff who constantly go above and beyond to care for you, excellent food, and peace and quiet. This is a remote island location with no shops or alternative entertainment, but a real community feel, personal relationships with staff and guests. There are good kayaks etc to go out to see the local turtles, but just the one 2k walking track up..."Reviewed October 30, 2026Roundtrip • Sydney (SYD) - Hamilton Island (HTI)SYD - HTI • Nonstop HTI - SYD • 1 stop

"Upon arrival it was alittle manic, our flight was a morning flight (11am) we knew we wouldn't be able to check in early but we didn't get checked in until nearly 2.30pm Our room was nice but didn't release there would've be no amenities like shower cap, makeup pads ect ect but shampoo, conditioner, body/hand wash and moisturiser was and I must admit it was AMAZING and then we didn't have any milk for a coffee/tea which was a surprise Bed was comfortable and bedroom was massive , loved that...
"First hotel I’ve stayed in that does not make your bed or change the towels top up toilet roll etc at all unless you go to ask at reception. For me this is a basic requirement of a hotel. The room felt damp for the entire stay. Noisey from wildlife through the night as bathroom window is mesh. Would I stay again- NOT A CHANCE"
"I expected a hot breakfast but it was mostly cold items which were good… still had to pay extra for hot eggs. The pool and the grounds were great, the room was clean. However, the birds decided to wake us up early which was not the hotel’s fault at all… just be ready. Short 15-minute walk to the center of town. No beach. Happy hour was reasonably priced. Dinner meals were good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating."
